We serve an awesome God!
We are excited about life and ministry at Our Saviour’s. We are excited about seeing the love and power of God spilling out into people’s lives. We believe in the promise that Jesus Christ brings good news to the poor, binds up the broken hearted, proclaims freedom to the captives and releases prisoner’s from darkness. We pray that Christ’s presence might manifest itself in our own lives and in the lives of our community. We hope that you will join with us as we seek to know Jesus Christ in all his fullness.
St. Paul writes, “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.” We pray that God would do this among us!
My name is Mark Bankson. I am in my second year serving as pastor of this congregation. While this church has an ongoing history longer than any other Lutheran church west of the Mississippi, it is exciting and inspiring to be in a place where the love of God is being shared and the Holy Spirit is on the move.
In one word, we invite you into a “Connexion”. On Wednesday evenings, we come together through an event called, “Connexion”. Connexion is an opportunity for everyone to gather for dinner, worship, fellowship, and grow closer to God. But more than that, throughout all aspects of our congregation, we hope you will find a deeper connexion with God and with others who are seeking to know Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers.
Join us in the journey!
